I cringed when he took the name of the Lord in vain, twice.
Then I remembered exactly what you said in your post.

I don’t think he took the Lords name in vain. .....many people use that phrase to emphasize a strong point without even thinking they’ve put God into the equation...... People at work, school, and even our friends and family sometimes routinely use God’s name and title in exclamations of amazement, ridicule, and other emotional situations.
God understands the difference.

Not unusual Christians are sensitive to Gods name in any situation.....and Not to forget that God hears it 24/7 and even before it’s spoken in all situations..... good that He sees ‘the motive of the heart’ when it’s spoken.
