Following a Judicial Watch lawsuit, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reinstated a reporting system that informs the public about illegal immigrants who commit crimes after being released from state or local custody. The offenders are shielded by sanctuary policies that ban local law enforcement from honoring Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers placed on illegal aliens who have been arrested on local criminal charges. If the detainer is honored ICE takes custody and deports the criminal rather than release him or her back into the community. When law enforcement agencies fail to honor immigration detainers and release serious criminal offenders, it undermines the federal governments duty to protect public safety.

Not a surprise.
But some people don’t want us to know.
I wonder if government people can be held liable if they blatantly ignore the law and someone is injured? It is not as if they made a mistake or “don’t remember” or “don’t know.” They consciously and knowingly broke federal law and someone was injured because of it.
Anybody refusing to turn an illegal over to ICE should be charged as a conspirator and/or accessory in any future crimes that illegal commits on U.S. soil.
Wait. What?!? Naw, can’t be!
Crime pays here. Just ask Epstein. Reward criminal behavior exponentially, with decades of free stuff and more crime will happen.
So alexa can track a toddler’s Christmas wishes and direct then to mom n dads amazon, but we can’t track visa over stayes and illegal immigrants with a criminal background?
bttt
Occasional jail time is just one of the costs of doing business. Same for illegals as for citizen criminals. Murder is one tactic for attempting to reduce the jail time cost.
“Judicial Watch: Illegal Aliens Released from Local Custody Commit More Crimes”
Color me surprised.
