“According to one current and one former U.S. government official speaking on the condition of anonymity, Darroch repeatedly leaked classified U.S. intelligence information, including highly classified information, to a journalist for a U.S.-based media outlet.”

So a current government official is leaking this information to the Washington Examiner.

And then ambassadors have access to intelligence? Why? they’re just ambassadors. I can understand intelligence sharing between intelligence services but not ambassadors They really don’t have the need to know anything except diplomatic stuff and statesmanship and other such glad-handing and back-slapping information.

Seems a little odd to be giving a foreign ambassador such highly classified material.

I’d think we would more likely share it with their intelligence services.

An English Ambassador to The US is giving secret information concerning the US to a reporter.

Why?

Not good.....not good at all.

Can we assume the corrupt thugs at the Washington Post or the slime at MSNBC?

The source needs to tell us which reporter. This has a whiff of post facto justification for running him off.

My hope is that the reporter in question also received and leaked Sir Kim’s criticisms of Trump. Bwwahahaha.

Might Darroch have leaked US intelligence provided to him by British intelligence?

One of the sources said that the ambassador repeatedly transmitted highly classified U.S. originator-control intelligence information to the journalist. ORCON intelligence, as it’s called in the intelligence world, is closely held and carefully distributed. At least some of this information was classified at the “Five Eyes” alliance classification level, meaning it was distributed by the U.S. only to Australia, Britain,Canada, and New Zealand. Some intelligence may also have been classified at the U.S.-U.K. only level.

1. This is another prime example of how we can not trust the Brits, Canadians, Aussies and Kiwis with any intel. We should cancel our part in the 5 Eye intel sharing. The Brits meddled and participated in our 2016 presidential election and were involved in the CIA/DOJ/FBI attempted coup of President Trump.

2. These acts of sabotage and terrorism against America were approved by the highest levels of Brit intel and including their PM.

3. A few decades ago, the Brit Intel Special Branches would have terminated this ambassador and those involved above him. It would not be in today’s news.
