The thing I don’t get about Mitt is this: He’s not going to be the Democratic nominee for President, not now, not ever.

So suppose he, and Kasich, and Ryan, and even throw in Egg McMuffin, somehow stage a coup and he becomes the GOP nominee.

He LOST last time, when most Republicans voted FOR him. After this nonsense, he won’t get 30% of the GOP votes he got last time.

So, Dude - what’s the plan?

I doubt he has a plan. He probably knows that his time as being a contender for the top job is over (with Trump showing how to fight and win and he simply unable to do so), he has his money, and maybe all he wants to do is finish out his public life with class (as he sees it).

As to this garbage, look at it from this angle. Romney, no doubt, is the toast of the white tie and tail types when he shows up at a ‘social’ (as they call it). Those people tell him in no uncertain terms that if he doesn’t attack Trump for this or for that, he’s no longer one of them - he’s defacto siding with Trump. Even owning a Tesla isn’t enough to stay in their club if he doesn’t speak up, given that he’s a Senator. So he says what’s expected, makes a fool of himself to the 94% of Republicans who support Trump, but basks in the charm of the money people, yet again.
