Mr. Romney, like many alleged Republicans, take the press’s characterizations at face value. He accepts without question the very premise of their accusations. This has always been a losing strategy. He has to know this, or he is an idiot.
That so many politicians have had it completely 180° wrong, for so long, can’t be a mistake or a question of incompetence.
They simply never fight back to the unceasing and ever increasing vile and disgusting blood libel heaped upon the citizenry. So we’re instead treated to a bunch of dissembling word salad.
