The Chinese are smart enough to recognize a threat when it presents itself - we in the west are easily fooled and coddle the monster.

Muslims are a existential threat no matter what group calls itself and need to be eradicated. The Chinese are doing their bit their way, while we in the west tolerate and submit to our detriment in the name of diversity.

The world is a brutal place and the Chinese are no exception and neither are we, shielded behind our passive media and forgotten history.

That Mohammad was so vile, murderous and an icon for all muslims to follow is a threat to all and the Chinese recognize it for what it is - I’d rather deal with materialistic socialists than fanatics who worship death.

BTW it was no a “straw argument” but rather a point about just who these people are and the footsteps they follow if not now then later. This is what the Chinese fear - they cannot be trusted and are not loyal citizens so they set about it their way - like it or not. Camps are better than how Mao treated them - they were test targets for China’s early neutron bomb experiments - twice. (there is no longer any existing documentation on the web - it was scrubbed decades ago).

You know zip about who you think “these people” are.

The Uighur represent no “existential threat” to the Chinese people. Their “sin” is their identity is against the religion of the Communist Party of Communist China. There is nothing more to it than that. You can manufacture, as does the Communist Party of China, all the excuses you want. That’s all they are, excuses.
