A few years ago a Detroit Tiger player, paid millions by the American owner and American fans, went to the international baseball celebration games to play.
He said later "I was excited to do well representing my country. I have so few chances to do something for my country." It took a few seconds for me to understand he meant Venezuela.
A few years prior to that a local rock DJ said "A lot of these foreign players are too lazy to bother to work at learning English." Great line but he missed that they deliberately as foreigners do NOT want to learn English. Arabs and others do this as a slap in the face to Americans (while accepting our tax money entitlements).
