Recoil on a 20ga with an 18” barrel is nothing, mobililty is manageable. If you need more than 5 better learn how to shoot. #4 Buck has about 22 pellets on the first 2, after that it’s 00. Each traveling about 1250fps or more. Works for me.

There were 4 home invaders here. I’d prefer to have more than 5 rounds available. If multiple people are shooting at me my aim might be off. If you’re worried about penetration a pistol caliber carbine is a good bet.

Would you plan to get in a gunfight with 4 potentially armed men with a gun that holds 5 rounds if you had a another choice? Are you really good enough to feel confident that you’re going take them out of the fight while they’re shooting back at you with basically one shot each? You are good.
