I think, in a way, Mexico IS paying for it - since they’re controlling the mobs right now.
Trump never engaged in the “lock her up” chants at the rallies, so he can’t be responsible if that doesn’t happen - nor did he ever say he was going to close the border, only that he WOULD if things didn’t get better (and they did).
On the ICE raids, though, he said, specifically, that he WOULD act in 7 days if those worthless assholes on Congress didn’t do something - and they ignored him, and it’s now past seven days.
So... President Trump, when do we start seeing our country CLEARED of the millions of illegal aliens who have permanently camped out here? What part of “illegal” is meaningless, and if it’s meaningless HERE, why should we-the-people really give a damn what our worthless government decrees as “illegal” or not?
If I win,” Donald Trump threatened Hillary Clinton during Sunday night’s debate, “I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation.” And he left no ambiguity as to the intended result. “People have been, their lives have been destroyed for doing one fifth of what you have done. And it’s a disgrace.”
“You know,” Clinton later responded, “It’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.” Trump couldn’t resist. “Because you would be in jail,” he broke in.——————
I remember that moment, of course.
And, you know what? I wouldn’t be surprised if he DID tell Sessions to do that, and Sessions said “Sure! We’ll start a committee to investigate the possibility of exploring the procedures to do just that. Give me until 2029, if I don’t recuse myself in the meantime.”
My point was, I never saw Trump lead or even participate in the “lock her up” chants in his rallies. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
