I see the Democrat party now as psychotic Marxists. What they are saying now is so far removed from the real world it doesn’t even make sense if you think about it.

Psychotic Episode Number 1: “We need to sue all the pharmaceutical companies and put their corporate officers in prison because they are responsible for the opiod crisis.”

Problem 1: It’s not true. The problem is a combination of over prescription of pain meds by certain doctors (legal/illegal opiods), and stuff manufactured in China and smuggled in through Mexico (illegal/illegal opiods). Pharmaceutical companies are under the magnifying glass all the time in the U.S., they know if they make the slightest mistake they will have a battery of PI attorneys immediately filing class actions against them. So it’s just a fantasy they are out there flooding the market with harmful drugs. But of course, the marxist Democrats don’t want to do anything about either Mexico, since they need open borders and an ever-increasing flood of illegals, or China, a quasi ally since they continue to finance the socialist agenda through cheap goods and credit. (That is, until our economy totally collapses because of the government’s fiscally irresponsible policies and China says “pay up.”)

Problem 2: The result of such action will mean the companies will just withdraw from the market. So the next time you go get an operation or have your wisdom teeth removed you get told, sorry we don’t have any painkillers any longer.

Psychotic Episode Number 2: “We need to sue all the energy companies and put their corporate officers in prison because they didn’t warn us about global warming, which they must have known about.”

Problem 1: No they didn’t know about global warming, which is simply a progressive hypothesis without anything to back it up.

Problem 2: So what were they supposed to have done? Stop selling all petroleum products? (Like cigarettes.)

It’s all just absurd if you spend thirty seconds thinking about it.

The entity that the Democrats most remind me of is the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. They were totally nuts.

Good analysis.

They would not be a problem if they did not own almost all media (ideologically).

The progressive insistence upon the destruction of traditional art, religious icons, historical leaders, and much more, is consistent with the destruction of non Islamic cultural icons by the Taliban.
The left in the US has ripened into a full blown Communist Great Purge, minus the bodies a la Khmer Rouge and Stalin’s slaughter of Mensheviks and Bolsheviks. The precedent is staring us in the face.
All that is required is for the left to regain power and killing fields in the US will be in our lifetime. They have made these very claims. Read: deplorables and unredeemables. We did this once in our CW. Unless the left is crushed politically we will have at it again with open warfare.

The issues are compounded because the left are allowed to get away with bad ideas by flying the flag of “Good Intentions” When you confront them with the illogical mature of their portions and they have no rational recourse they shrug and say “Well at least I have good intentions.” It doesn’t matter to them whether what they believe is true or not as long as they want to help.

You cannot argue with these people because their self-righteousness precludes them every admitting to a mistake. Their ideology, in their mind, no matter how provably wrong, is infallible. Therefore the facts presented must be wrong.

I am reminded of a line by Killgore Trout in the novel “Breakfast of Champions” by Kurt Vonnegut “Mental illness is caused by bad ideas” The democrats are crazy because they have accepted bad ideas.
