UK minister to apologise to Ivanka Trump for diplomat’s memos

US president Donald Trump will “no longer deal” with the UK’s ambassador to the US Sir Kim Darroch and criticised prime minister Theresa May for making a “mess” of Brexit, he said on Twitter.

“I have been very critical about the way the UK and Prime Minister Theresa May handled Brexit. What a mess she and her representatives have created,” he tweeted.

“I told her how it should be done, but she decided to go another way. I do not know the Ambassador, but he is not liked or well thought of within the US. We will no longer deal with him."

Earlier on Monday, Britain’s trade minister said he would apologise to Mr Trump’s daughter Ivanka for a leak of confidential memos in which the UK ambassador describes the US administration as “dysfunctional” and “inept”.

The memos from Sir Kim, the ambassador to Washington, were leaked to a Sunday newspaper, annoying Mr Trump and triggering demands on the British side to find out who had disclosed them.

International trade secretary Liam Fox, who is on a visit to Washington, told BBC radio he would apologise to the president’s daughter Ivanka, whom he is due to meet during his trip.

Just checked. UK had $141 bil worth of exports to the US last year.

Time to send a message.

Well, this isn’t persona non grata, but the British ambassador is going to have a hard time doing anything in the US.

President Trump should also publicly ask May to explain why MI-6, Britains Intelligence Service, provided Christopher Steele with the freedom to create the bogus Steele Report designed to usurp a duly elected President of the United States.

That was tantamount to an act of war, and a prime example of the liberal fascist poison that infests many modern governments of the free world. The fact that we have a spontaneous populist political movement was born because of the surreptitious activity of these traitorous Progressive Globalists. Let these Globalists retire or sleep with the fishes.

But the Ambassador to the USA is such a Globalists, one taking his last few detrimental shots at President Trump as he fades into ignominy .Boris, Ferrage, Brexit and President Trump are poised to really rejuvenate, invigorate and protect Britain.

What we see with the “good” ambassador are the sour grapes of the already defeated.

Theresa May has tried from the beginning to sabotage Brexit. She did it on purpose. One of Nigel Farage’s main points about Brexit is that being part of the EU is preventing the UK from signing trade deals on its own, such as one with the US. So Theresa May refused to even start negotiations with the US on a trade deal until the UK is completely out of the EU, and she then did her best to scuttle the Brexit. Now the political establishment is reaping what they sewed as they kick out politicians who refused to represent their desires.

Fox is not the one who made the insults, and Ivanka was not the one insulted. Why doesn’t the POS, apologize directly to Donald Trump? Then Trump can give him 24 hours to get out of the country. 👍

She was a remainer & establishment (just like RINO). Her job is to lead the Brexit to nowhere.

“I have made it clear that I don’t share the ambassador’s assessment of either the US administration or relations with the US administration, but I do defend his right to make that frank assessment,” foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt told reporters.

We have an expression in this country. F' off.

If the British people are serious about getting their country back, there’s something they need to do in addition to Brexiting.

They need to get themselves a formal, written constitution that protects the citizenry from its government.

Note to Brits: Feel free to crib ours.

Disagree...about the persona non grata part. The UK Ambassador should resign immediately if he hasn’t already.

Interesting point! Our constitution is tailor made for a successful society and the most brilliant political document ever produced after the Magna carta, etc. Why no country has not just cut and pasted it remains a mystery to me!

It’s no mystery. The uniparty is not just a US affliction. It’s a cancer that’s spread all over the Earth’s body politic.

We are still at risk in the US.

When Franklin replied “A republic if you can keep it”, he was prescient.

Just declare him persona non grata. Refuse to meet with or speak to him. Disinvite him from any official function. Forbid anybody in the administration or indeed executive branch from dealing with him.

That’s it. Nothing more needs be done and lashing out at the UK in general just because this one globalist has covered himself in chit would be counterproductive. That would be exactly what the left wing Globalist Remoaners want. Don’t play into their hands. Just leave it to the new PM to realize having an ambassador nobody will deal with for their most important ally is not in Britain’s interest.
