If the SDNY wants to use this to go after Trump, there’s just no there there. On the other hand, because the case is older than Trump’s candidacy and possibly implicated Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew, it may be that they try to barrage the media with false implications just to keep the truly salacious materials from being discovered. They will, however, be discovered.

There is NO CHANCE that AG Barr or anyone currently at the top of DOJ would leave Comey’s daughter on the prosecution team if the target was Trump.
It would be a clear conflict with horrible optics. Something that DOJ is very sensitive about right now as there is already a low level of trust among Trump supporters for DOJ given the shenanigans we already know about.
I don’t know how far Barr will go to restore trust in DOJ, but he has gone far enough to indicate something like this would NEVER happen. Can you imagine the level of rage this would create?
