Sometimes, an artist can be too close to their work to really see it as most others will.
Reminds me when I was in grade school, and my friend made a bust of JFK in clay. Let’s just say it was an honest critique, his retort was that I was just jealous, LOL. At least this guy admitted what he did was a horrible attempt at capturing Lucille Ball. I don’t think it was the same boy, but perhaps it was. 8>)
