The Boss Like Ross shoes arent intended to be a political statement, according to Reed. Rather, she wants the sneakers to help change peoples perspective and see things in a more positive light.
These shoes arent about knocking Nike or Kaepernick, Reed told the DCNF. It was a great idea by Nike, and I respect anyone who stands up for what they believe in. I believe in women. Women that are getting Out of Line and paving their own path, just like Betsy Ross.
They were made to change peoples perspective, Reed continued. A perspective that is built around hate and is now erasing a key figure in American history. You can be patriotic and support equality. That is the foundation of America.

Bad choice of words. He should have said Women are getting “out of the line”.

“Don’t let hate change our history”.
I wish I could afford a pair. $105.00 is more than I can manage for sneakers. Nonetheless, I wish them great success.
Converse sells red, white, and blue sneakers at a much lower price point. :-)
I just ordered a pair of asics for $49. For some reason, I didn’t realize until last week that the insides/lining of my current pair, that I’ve had for at least five years, was falling apart inside. I ordered running shoes, although these days I’m just walking on a treadmill.

Boss Like Ross sneakers----$69.95----proceeds to vet groups.
Brooks shoes has an Old Glory collection of athletic shoes out. Very nice, at a higher price point.
My hat is off to Out of Line, I hope they make tens of millions of dollars for recognizing the stumble of one of the great shoe makers.
Now about Facebook..........
Very nice.
The flag, designed by Betsy Ross, has 13 stars in a circle with 13 red and white stripes to represent the original colonies.
These shoes were important to me, Reed said. Im looking at it from a different lens than Nike is and trying to put a positive spin on it. Why arent we taking this flag back and making it ours and making it a positive image? We can change the way people look at this flag.
Ain't Capitalism Grand!
Converse is owned by Nike. Click here to see them using an 11 year old drag queen as a prop for their sneakers.
Well, ****.
Thanks for the info, though!
“... These shoes arent about knocking Nike or Kaepernick,...”

C’mon, grow a pair, Carly Reed (metaphorically)
On special order, the shoes can be purchased with two left feet.
Of course, the price is doubled. /smile
