Rep. Frederica Wilson (D., Fla.) said that facilities used to detain illegal immigrant children separated from their parents are run entirely by "white men."
Wilson's comments came in response to a question from CNN host Alisyn Camerota about the condition adolescent girls in these centers, during a Wednesday appearance on New Day.
"Every day they're bringing in new children from the border, so there's no real plan to exit these children out of this facility, but there's a real plan to bring them there because they said to us, ‘We're going to add permanent structures.' Now they're in tents, and it is so sad," Wilson said, before continuing her analysis of the facility's workforce.
"I said to one of the workers, who were all white men, no Hispanic men, no Hispanic women," she said. "Everyone running this institution are white men. I said to one of them, ‘I feel so sorry for these kids.' He said, ‘We treat them well.' I said, ‘I mean, I feel sorry for them because you have taken them from their parents.' he said, ‘Oh, because we treat them well.'"
Wilson noted that she thinks keeping so many young women in close proximity to men of other ages is "very dangerous."
"This place needs to be shut down," she said.
Wilson has recently called for the prosecution of people who make fun of members of Congress, saying "We're gonna shut them down and work with whoever it is to shut them down, and they should be prosecuted."
I don’t believe this for a minute. Whenever you see border patrol reality or police reality shows like Live PD, they always have Spanish speaking officers. Half the time they are more than sympathetic to the crossers, knowing the tough lives many of them lead, even though they are enforcing the law. No way there are no latinos.
Absolutely . . . .after the children are united with parents and all are escorted out of the country.

With that being said, the difference living here than when we lived in CA is that People (of all Colors and Persuasions) are polite and respectful even though you have a difference in Political Opinions. It’s a Southern thing.

Being a “white” kid in an El Paso high school is like being a “white kid in a Harlem school.
I was in a Walmart in El Paso. It was busy, long lines. Looking around (observing) while I was waiting, I tried to find another obvious “white” person in the crowd. I couldn’t! They were all obvious Hispanics.
As I neared the checkout, most transactions were being conducted in SPANISH! Fortunately the cashier knew “English” (as a second language).
Watching “Border Patrol” TV shows, I see that MOST agents are Hispanic. Many with Spanish sounding accents and all with Spanish sounding names.
I don’t know the makeup of the detention employees, but I suspect this story is BULLSHIRT!
If she has her way, I’ll probably be prosecuted for saying this but if you dress like a clown and talk like a clown, expect to be treated like one.
