I can find nothing in the bible to contradict this hypothesis. i.e. scripture supports this hypothesis.


I find nothing in the Bible to contradict my notion
that the Red Sea was formed in the wake of an alien
nuclear attack. Therefore scripture supports it.

I get where you are coming from. :)

My argument, however, is that scripture actually DOES support the hypothesis within the context of scripture itself. Often, when the word “eternal” or “eternity” is used in english langage bibles, it is really interpretting a Greek or Hebrew word that means, for an age, for the ages, for a certain period of time, etc. It all has to be taken in context.

So I believe a person can believe the earth is very old, but our age, starting in genesis, is about 6000 years.
