I declined to change my vocabulary with the winds of Style and use the term Negros. The problem for Negros is that the approbation is for the group so that every new designation becomes a pejorative fairly shortly. The act of repeatedly changing the permissible designation itself helps make the new term pejorative.
I guess that would be whack-a-mole social justice language manipulation. So annoying!!
