The North Korean video version of the meeting. SO much better than what we were seeing from our media. (And better camera angles!) Makes you believe that the North Koreans are serious about changing the image of the US within North Korea, and using Trump as the focus and cause of change. Gives equal importance to both leaders. Respectful and optomistic.

FTA: Jumping Ju-Ju bones. Wow. The North Korean broadcast of the meeting between President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong-un has now been fully translated to English.
Initially, even without the translation, we could see the optimistic message and a mutual strategy that would align the interests of Chairman Kim and President Trump. However, the translation is even better than anticipated. The message to the North Korean people is not just optimism and propaganda, the message directly and purposefully conveys an incredibly strong message of respect for U.S. President Trump.
Traditional propaganda messaging would convey great power and respect for Dear Leader Kim Jong-Un and a message of moderate diminishment toward the U.S. President. This type of propaganda narrative is also what the U.S. Main Street Media had stated Kim Jong-un would use. But they’re wrong… all of them.
The actual message conveyed to the citizens of North Korea is one of united celebration and magnanimous respect for Chairman Kim and President Trump. The broadcast specifically cites “wisdom”, “respect” and praise for the “incredible courage” of President Donald J Trump. Exactly the opposite message predicted by the DC naysayers.
I hope that the team meetings that they have talked about will actually happen, and that they will be productive in reducing tensions, and perhaps some day the North Korean people will be free.
I wouldn’t have been surprised if the video had fit your description. The fact that it didn’t is sort of stunning. It feels like the beginning of a massive propaganda push to turn the entire North Korean people TOWARD the US.

Of note is that Kim Jong Un was continually referred to as “the respected Supreme leader”. They absolutely show publicly respect for their leader. THAT is a failing here on both sides for whoever is President.

I watched the CTH copy with the auto generated and translated subtitles. That was a hoot.
The actual translation is very very interesting. NORKs are trained from birth that Americans are evil. This is a sea change. Pro American propaganda. Let that sink in.
Expect a flotilla of aid to flow to the NORKs as soon as they have paperwork signed and inspectors on the ground. Expect the first McDonalds in Pyongyang by this time next year. Expect massive investment in NORK rare earth mining and processing and exports to the world in the same time frame.

It was. And very sad because this is the kind of thing that should have been shown HERE, but wasn’t because the media is an enemy of our country.
I mean... just, WOW. NORTH KOREAN television accurately reports the meeting AND provides information I didn’t even know (from the news reports I saw, I thought they just walked up to each other in a road, shook hands, and then went their separate ways).
... and the fact that it even exists is a big deal, because it indicates, clearly, that that North Koreans DO want all of this to go in the direction of peace - not nuclear war. And are the anti-Trump morons on the left celebrating? Hell, no. THEY seem to want war because, after all, peace will make Trump look good and THAT is the worst possible thing in their pathetic universe.
Imagine how ex-presidents and NeverTrumpers are feeling about now.

It took the hawk Nixon to open relations with China, and it just may take Trump to open relations with North Korea.
The key, in my opinion, will be in the U.S. secretly negotiating golden parachutes for the top Generals in the NK Army. They are the main opposition to demilitarization, and appeasing them will be the key to opening up relations with NK.
The Kims have been worried about revolt from the population if they ever discovered how the West has lived these past 60 years, but Soviet Russia also worried about that as well. The reality is that the NK people know how the SK people live, and with the increased tourism to NK, have been exposed to more westerners. If Kim can shape himself as the deliverer of prosperity to his people instead of the oppressor (that he is,) he, too, can escape the wrath of his emancipated population.
