Unless you can post something coherent please leave me off your ping list. Your nonsensical crap is bad enough on the threads I do visit - I don’t need to be dragged into others.

The colonies weren’t formed as “slave states” or “slave colonies”, they were formed as colonies. It is true that slavery was practiced in one form or another (and to one degree or another) in each of the colonies. So what?

But it is only the would-be nation of confederlandia that was predicated on and dedicated to the proposition of enslavement of other human beings. NOT the colonies, and NOT the United States.

So you assert, but this thing you claim it was founded upon was the normal state of affairs in 1776 USA. I think what you are saying is that when all the Northern states decided it should be abandoned, those backward Southern states simply wanted things to remain as they were.

You now characterize their preference to not "change" as some sort of change from the status quo, when it is not.

I am reminded of the latest cultural elites who tell us that if we don't accept "transgenderism" and 57 flavors of gender, we are backward rubes who refuse to be enlightened.

Well sometimes backwards rubes don't want to be enlightened, and also don't want to be part of a country that wants to "enlighten" them.

I suspect you might be feeling a bit of that now, but I could be wrong and perhaps you are all too willing to embrace the new morality being sold by our cultural elites today.
