You are right what he did was inexcusable. He was weak to cave in to pressure. And maybe he is trying to pay for his mistake by doing better jokes, an equal sided humor, a better type of humor. He could have carried on in a mean spirited way and been another Colbert. I see it as the only guy that is trying to make a difference in humor again, for the better. I give him credit for at least that.

These clowns murdered one of the greatest shows across three decades when they canceled Roseanne in order to virtue signal how stupid and bigoted they are, and ran a comedy legend out of town for the same reason. Unforgivable, McCarthyite, and just plain wrong.

But even so, Jimmy Fallon was funny. People should be encouraged when they are funny.
