A priority of every politician is to keep their name in the press. She can’t do that by saying Trump did something historic. You wouldn’t hear a peep about a comment like that. She has to say something anti-Trump. Literally, Trump could bring the dead back to life and a Democrat would accuse him of depriving them of eternal life.
Presidents have to deal with reality, whether that reality is a Stalin or a Pol Pot. They are the leaders of their country and we don’t have any say about that. If a president wants to get something done that a dictator has control of, he has to go negotiate. Kudos to Trump for trying. If anybody can pull it off, it’s Trump. (I like Trump more every day. Eventually, I may even get a tingle in my leg when I see him.)
