Holy God,
During this week in which we celebrate Independence Day, we think about the faithfulness You have shown this nation from its very beginning. Though we are celebrating our country’s freedom, there is heaviness in our hearts for America because we know that as a nation, we have moved away from You. Father, surely You are the answer to our struggling and divided country. We struggle because we have allowed the wisdom of this world to replace the true wisdom that can only come from You. How foolish we are to think that Your ways are outdated and Your truths no longer apply to our daily lives. Forgive us, Lord. We know that neither You nor Your truths ever change. We pray that You would raise up a voice in our nation that would rally the body of Christ and cause us to become the standard bearers to such a degree that we would profoundly affect the morality of our nation. Help us, Father, to stand firm on Your wisdom and truth all the days of our lives.
May Your hand guide our President in the paths he should take. May the words of his mouth and the meditations of his heart be acceptable in Your sight. Please surround him with wise counsel from men and women of integrity who place Your agenda above their own and who desire that which is good and right, just and true. We pray that You would give President Trump the spirit of discernment, understanding, and knowledge so that our nation may know stability internally and abroad.
Lord, may Your wisdom dwell with our military men and women, that their ways may be full of pleasantness and their paths filled with peace. Please separate them from all bondage and strife that may have been a part of their service, and grant them the beautiful knowledge of Your presence and the desire to hear Your voice.
Blessed are You, our immortal, invisible, always wise God. We exalt Your Name forever and ever, and we thank You for always being willing to share Your wisdom with us. Guide us, Great Jehovah, that we may honor and bless You in our personal lives and as citizens of this nation. May our nation be truly blessed because You are our God. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

And for every attempt of the enemy to thwart the mighty calling and purpose of this president to come to nothing. For the destruction of the forces of all leftism and socialism in our midst. For every stranglehold of death, darkness, confusion, and deception wreaking havoc on and asphyxiating our churches and our country — to be shattered into pieces. For a new godly, golden age in America. For miraculous renewal and resuscitation of all that is pure and lovely in your sight. For the great reversal of Roe v. Wade.

2 Raise a banner on a bare hilltop,
shout to them;
beckon to them
to enter the gates of the nobles.

I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath—
those who rejoice in my triumph.
4 Listen, a noise on the mountains,
like that of a great multitude!
Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms,
like nations massing together!
The Lord Almighty is mustering
an army for war.
5 They come from faraway lands,
from the ends of the heavens—
the Lord and the weapons of his wrath—
to destroy the whole country.
6 Wail, for the day of the Lord is near;
it will come like destruction from the Almighty.[a]
7 Because of this, all hands will go limp,
every heart will melt with fear.
8 Terror will seize them,
pain and anguish will grip them;
they will writhe like a woman in labor.
They will look aghast at each other,
their faces aflame.
9 See, the day of the Lord is coming

Yes, Father God, as a nation may we repent of our wandering and be restored to You. May common sense, integrity and You be woven back into our culture. May the enemy be crushed. We ask these things in Jesus name.
