The “Hand” was meant to describe the collective results of individual actions taken by free people with free minds in free markets. We have very little of that nowadays so the Invisible Hands is that of government and best understood by Bastiat.
Ditto! If one thinks government is the solution, one should first check whether government created the problem.
I’d much rather trust the invisible hand of capitalism than the iron fist of government. Unfortunately the iron fist has already entrenched itself and isn’t going anywhere while the invisible hand becomes more and more invisible in out society.
