We've known this ever since the ACLU first put its slimy fingers into US jurisprudence. Tail Gunner Joe tried to warn us about it. But, Americans aren't a particular astute lot. Not in the long run.

We've had pundits warn us certain things are bad. But as soon as some Hollywood Starlet Whore comes on screen puffing on one, people are lining up to follow her lead.

And so goes the country.
