I guess they mean "like Jamaica".
I'm not sure if that is a sarcastic comment, but I've been to Jamaica, many times over the years and while it's been 10 years since my last vacation there, the place was always wonderful.
The people were super friendly, and the wait staff at all tourist locations were first rate.
Other than driving on the opposite side of the road, it is an ideal island for a quick traveling trip {from the East Coast}.
But you can have just as good time in Florida, with the same kinds of conditions.
Try Marco Island for excellent service and great weather conditions.
