If you think that Muslim men have monopolized wife beating, then I have news for you: Non-Muslim White, Black, and Latino men are just as bad, if not worse.
An neighbor’s daughter was dating a Muslim. He was easygoing and completely “westernized”.....initially. As the wedding approached he became more demanding. No alcohol at reception. No Christian references despite the family being committed Catholics.
After the wedding he restricted her contact with her family and moved to another state.
Last I heard, her parents never see her or their grandchildren.

I can’t imagine what women see in Muslim men. They are repulsive to me. Nasty!
I suspect their eons-old, core genetic need for strength in their male leads to these situations, that it overrides their reason and fear.
Of course they haven't.But it *is* a particular specialty of moslem males.
Puerto Ricans become shortstops,moslem males become wife beaters/killers.
Back around 1980 my Vietnamese wife met another Vietnamese woman. She was married to a Yemeni former diplomat.
They had about 6 or 8 kids, one of whom was in his early 20s.
The guy had been dating a Catholic girl and his father found out, which immediately went the way of arranging a marriage to a Yemeni woman. The fellow met and chaperone dated the Yemeni woman from the other family. Then the family of the woman found out that he’s had a white Catholic girlfriend. The guy’s parents told him to go talk to the girl’s family, offer his apologies and accept whatever the girl’s family wanted for penance. He went to their door they came out and put a bullet in his head and then called the police stating that there was a dead guy on their steps.
The cops investigated, the case was never solved and both families were pleased at the outcome.
We decided that these people were too dangerous to associate with and we’ve never seen them since.
