Democrats will regret issuing a subpoena to former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who agreed to testify later this summer, according to Alan Dershowitz.
Mueller cannot refuse to answer questions from Republicans not covered by "privilege," Dershowitz claimed on Fox News' "The Ingraham Angle."
"I'm trying to stop them from shooting themselves in the foot," he said.

I hope he gets asked some tough questions.
The only reason I can fathom this being done is to hurt Trump in some way.

Shooting themselves all, them him/herself in the head. This will be the 1st opportunity for anyone on the right to cross-examine on live TV. Only if after the 1st 2 words starting up the cross-examination do Democrats stand up spitting and screaming “racist”, “illegal questioning”, “bigots” shouting down EVERY Republican.

There won’t be “nail in the coffin” questions here. There will be set up questions.
Mueller will still have to go before the Senate .. maybe fall.
I say by fall we hear of indictments. And Mueller will have perjured himself in one or more of the hearings.

The entire farce will be on C-SPAN, and probably most of it will be on all of the cable news channels.
The show will not produce any real bombshells, no TICK TOCK moments, but the hot air in the capital will go up 2-3 degrees.

My understanding is that the only thing a prosecutor is allowed to say about someone he/she is investigating is “we have sufficient evidence to charge the subject with two counts of “A”...”B”...”C”...”D”...and “E”...and have done so”.Once that's announced the subject is presumed,under the US Constitution,to be *innocent* of all other crimes.
I’m guessing he won’t be under oath so he will lie and give his opinion of what he thinks President Trump has done.
"Mr Muller,regarding your highly unprofessional,and unethical,statement that you couldn't prove that the President did *not* obstruct justice...is it true that some time ago that you and the President had a personal financial dispute in which he refused to refund a sum of $15,000 to which you believed you were entitled?"
And the next question could be: "Mr Mueller,is it true that your chief Deputy,Mr Weissmen,was at the Javits Center on Election Night of 2016 planning to celebrate Secretary Clinton's election to the Presidency?"

There are some good Congressmen on both of those committees that will open a can of whup-ass on Heir Mueller. Nunez, Jordan, Meadows, and Gohmert just to name a few. That said, it’s going to be a clown show. Two combined committees with only five minutes each to ask questions from dozens of members will be a farce.
Of course, we all know that only statements detrimental to the President will get any air-time.
I understand it will be a public hearing. I wouldn’t think the dims would be for that unless they knew what was going to be said.
Mueller has already said he will say no more than what was in the report. So either he is going to say....read the report....or he’ll take the fifth. What are they going to do....put him in jail...they don’t have the authority.
