There was an old joke when I was an undergrad at New Haven; “Smith to bed, Wellesley to wed.” I have to admit I was much more interested in the women - yes, women - of Randolph-Macon, Virginia Tech, Stanford, etc. We had no interest in the Sisters’ girls.
