The War Powers Act allows 60 days before Congressional approval is needed.
And POTUS is required to notify Congress when hostile actions are initiated. That’s when the clock starts.
POTUS is constrained by that law to act in the best interests of the US, as defined by him.
Anyone else find it ironic that a successful businessman and patriot is able to school politicians who have spent their lives in government?!
