I’d keep an eye on that force of troops. I’ve got a healthy sense of paranoia. Imagine a force of 100,000 Mexican troops pouring across the border with an in place sympathetic population to join forces along with a cartel factoring in with another thousands strong force. Our country is saturated with people that hold allegiance to other countries and we have sympathetic anti Americans within our government. It’s kind of like a Red Dawn scenario. The way things are going I don’t put a lot of faith in our glorious leaders. Only you and me and a warm gun.
I’d keep my ear to the ground and listen to what local illegals are saying to each other about current events. If they sound nervous, it’s good news.

A10s, Apaches, and HumVees with mini-guns should be patrolling our border.
We in Texas are rather better armed than Bowie, Crockett & Co. (may God rest their souls). The Mexican Army would, at worst, cease to exist in San Antonio.
They’d and their supporters would be dead within a week.
