I am an illinois ex-pat who has helped others escape.
Near West Chicago, Illinois they have a town built solely to hold a WW2 reenactment where Germans come in and the resistance does battle with them. Its a weekend long affair with actors who take great pride and care in the reenactment.

But because it doesnt glorify , queers and homos these low IQ imbeciles do not appreciate nor care about that.

In passing , this monument is (or was) located at the end of the parking lot of a black funeral home. The owner used to raise and lower the CSA Battle flag each day. Don't know what goes on now. If the Obamanators of Cook County don't want the sacred soil of their city defiled by Rebel remains then they can pay for excavation of the mass of unknowns and return them to some site in Dixie, maybe near to Meridian, Mississippi where the Confederate dead can rest in peace in their own soil.

Again, people with no concept whatsoever of history try to destroy it. Reenactments of civil war battles started within a decade of the ending of the war. These were actually used to bring people together and heal the wounds the war had caused. You would actually see members of the Northern and Southern forces get together to put these things on, and then afterwards hang out together and meet each other's families. I'm fairly sure it was unprecedented, and did much to help us heal as a nation.
