This the swamp mentality creeping in to this White House. Surrounded by network hacks, they are convinced that networks still matter.
This isn’t 1979. Most people get their news from the internet. People watching Bachelorette or whatever aren’t hard news/politics consumers. In fact, they actively avoid it.
Currying favor with the networks is a hiding to nothing. They will shake his hand and then stab him in the back within 24 hrs. Even doing it to seek a truce is bound to fail.
It’s lose-lose. The networks’ self image as arbiters of public sentiment is reinforced and Trump is viewed as someone who grovels at the feet of those who have lying about him every day for four years.
Exactly, why? Why insult Todd one day and sit down with him another? Or with Time? Or with any of the other members of the media? If they're fake news then aren't you only feeding their ability to spin and slant?

Isn't it interesting that Trump gives interviews to everyone on FOX except chrissy, sheppy and brett.
It wouldn't surprise me to see Trump do a Saturday night cameo on the Gutfeld Show before he gives chrissy an interview.
PDJT plays them into his hands...not the inverse.

He’s running the show. Steffi interview was the first time a lot of ABC viewers found out about all the corruption from FBI, Justice, Dems, media, Hillary etc. This is just more sunlight
I simply cannot watch Chuck Todd after his interview with Dr. Ben Carson a few years ago. It doesn’t matter who he’s interviewing now.
