In a huge and crowded deluxe department store like that in Manhattan (Bergdorf Goodman), he, or anyone remotely sane, would even TRY such a thing?? These places are always packed with people! The excerpt indicates they were both stand upright throughout and face to face, since she was able to push him away with her hand, and she pushed him away with her raised knee. She says she was inches shorter than him even in her high heels. She says he was clothed throughout and she was mostly clothed.

She says he penetrated her at least half way.

My sense is that it is impossible for a resisting female to be penetrated by a male when both are face to face, and she is struggling. Especially when the male is taller. The anatomy just doesn’t allow for it.
