The comments here demonstrate the effectiveness of the Deep State Smear Machine (DSSM). In 1942 it portrayed Joseph Stalin as a saint and it portrayed Sen Joseph McCarthy as a mass murderer. The vast majority of people only know what to think based on info from the DSSM.

I don't know anyone here who changed their mind about Roy Moore in 2017 based on those smears. And I've been on the record here saying that I would have voted for him even if every accusation against him was true -- which is something I suspect most Freepers probably would not do.
I will now go on the record and say that if Roy Moore is the Republican nominee in 2020 and I lived in Alabama, I would support him even if he joined NAMBLA and made every campaign appearance wearing nothing but a speedo and a bathing cap.
And yet despite all of this I'm saying loudly and clearly: THIS LOSER SHOULD NOT BE THE REPUBLICAN NOMINEE IN 2020.
I didn’t like Moore even before the news about his supposed history came out. His complete focus on the 10 Commandments long before his campaign was a little odd to me.
