I never find someone inventing a more effective means of controlling demonstrators to be a heartening prospect. You bet that these will be used on American citizens.

"You bet that these will be used on American citizens."

Sort of like how the FISA courts and Patriot Act provisions would only be used for the "bad guys"......

Of course. Weapons just do not face south. The old unintended consequences thing.

There is already crowd weapons used in violent protests in large areas and it is called sub-sonics. It was used in the 2009 G20 Pittsburgh summit, the 2014 Ferguson unrest, the 2016 Dakota Access Pipeline protest in North Dakota, among others. A long-range acoustic device has been used by the crew of the cruise ship Seabourn Spirit to deter pirates who chased and attacked the ship.

These do not cause fire and explosion but act directly on the people and animals in the blanket sights. And the severity and time of it’s use can cause anything from nausea to brain damage in a large target capacity. A similar system is called a “magnetic acoustic device” “The mosquito”. Mobile sonic devices have been used in the United Kingdom to deter teenagers from lingering around shops in target areas. The device works by emitting an ultra-high frequency blast (around 19–20 kHz) that teenagers or people under approximately 20 are susceptible to and find uncomfortable. If it was increased, it could kill with the destruction of organs and the contraction of muscle tissue, to include the heart. The guidelines for this type of weapon has been under the control of the United States Department of Defense policy on non-lethal weapons and has been in use since the 1990’s. Just no one talks about it. So boom and fire explosions are not completely needed. Invisible sound waves can do it just as well.

Finally, something citizens will get to the front of the line with.
In all honesty, it will be Christians and Jews if history is any indicator.

Yeah, I can see this being employed to keep American citizens within the government specified “Free Speech Zones” the next time the demorats gain power.

First thing I thought of also. This will never be used on the border, Too many 10 year old children will be used as shields. It will be crowd control at conservative political rallies and demonstrations.
