So we should throw away American lives and many billions of dollars on military adventures being the world’s police? No thanks, that’s not what I voted for Trump for.

The last three times we hit Iran no US lives were lost and Iran sustained massive loses to their navy and other assets. So what makes you imagine this time it would be different?

So what’s the cost of a few nukes of Iranian origin hitting the US? How much does the total destruction of NYC and Chicago cost? How many people would die immediately and how many later?

Examples:
A very modest Hiroshima sized 20KT air burst over Manhattan kills 287,000; 100 kt kills 583,000; a 1.20mt (B-83) kills 1,800,00 with 3,336,730 “wounded”.

A 20KT air burst over Chicago kills 165,000; 100 kt kills 267,960; a 1.20mt (B-83) kills 676,750.

Current North Korean and likely Iranian warhead size about 70kt but the will get larger - so we should wait until they get on par with us because that would be fair and all our military people could die at home en mass instead of a handful in the ME sandbox.

Since D-Day in Normandy saw 4,000 US boys killed in the first hours, it was not worth it and we should have just called the whole thing off - no more US soldiers blood will stain the European Earth - its their problem - let them work it out. That’s how that would have gone with the German-American Bund holding massive celebrations and parades up and down the US mainland.

Let’s just wait it out since it is just a matter of time before Iran gets bold enough to nuke the US paper tiger and that would be fair.
