Hey, she’s got an new album to sell. She’s chosen her audience and now she’s promoting it. She knows this will generate millions of dollars worth of free publicity. The same thing Madonna is doing with her “Would Jesus tell woman what to do with their bodies” comment.
At least Madonna somewhat separates her political speech from her entertainment.

But this question is easy: Yes, Jesus would tell them, because He already did... the words said to the woman caught in adultery are both a word of mercy and of confrontation for our depraved society—“Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin any more” (John 8:11).
You don’t get more “telling someone what to do” than that.
