Not such a surprise coming from the daughter of a banker in the Northeast. But it is disappointing.
Somehow I think the entire left took South Park’s “Not Without My Anus” as a documentary on a love story.
When Swift’s popularity wanes she will return to her core fanbase and they will dismiss her too. Witness the Dixie Chicks (who I never did care for). Music fans are fickle.
ok, now I went to glance at the video on youtube.
Musically it is a mess — nothing like her country or even her pop hits. Very little vocals or tune or melody.
The Video itself is jerky and irritating (even if I liked the message, which I don’t) and it’s in-your-face-anti-conservative.
The poor lass has jumped the shark.
This is why we don’t have TV (or cable or netflicks or amazon streaming or hulu or whatever) - dvds if at all (twice a month). This kind of filth aims to change our kids minds
She’s actually very lucky. There was a time when a fading music star had to die of a drug overdose in his or her 20s to revive their careers. :-P
Is she finally coming out? Most of the gossip sites routinely say that all her “boyfriends” are contract sham relationships. She’s such a phony.
Sorry, she may be able to write but she can’t sing. Apparently she can’t think either.

Why do the Left do this ? Why is it not enough to be silent or neutral ?
I had a Taylor Swift channel on Pandora and “liked” everything from her. I also liked all her songs even on other channels. I really liked her songs’ arrangements.
When she entered the fray a few months ago, I unliked every one and dumped the channel. Same thing with Amazon prime music. In this world, we are all “Nielsen families”.
i.e. my effort actually matters, and I hope I am one of many.

Hey, she’s got an new album to sell. She’s chosen her audience and now she’s promoting it. She knows this will generate millions of dollars worth of free publicity. The same thing Madonna is doing with her “Would Jesus tell woman what to do with their bodies” comment.
The video includes caricatures of anti-LGBT protesters as screaming rednecks with cartoonish hair and tattered clothes, bearing signs such as “homosexuality is sin” and a misspelled “get a brain morans.”

So she’s a racist bigot too.
She has lost her appeal.
At least Madonna somewhat separates her political speech from her entertainment.
