Easy to get drivers licenses, easy to get welfare, easy to get Medicaid all attract warm bodies. Not the kind that make for a good economy and healthy society, but Albany doesn’t care about that. Albany just wants warm bodies.
And this attracts them.
It is ALL about voter fraud.

Agreed. That’s a solid argument.
At one time, it could be argued that how a particular state ran its presidential elector selection was its own business. Now that some states are opting to give their electoral votes to the candidate with the largest national popular vote, a fraudulent vote in California can affect the allocation of EVs from, say, Colorado or Nevada. That is a concern nationally and, imo, should be a basis for invalidating those states who adopt that legislation.

The problem for Albany is that the outflow from makers leaving is exceeding what they could make up for by importing takers.
That’s why Albany has gone even more nuts with the bribes.
But there is a way for conservatives in blue states to fight back.
If the citizenship question is NOT on the census, refuse to participate if you live in a blue state.
If enough of us do that, there’ll be chaos.
NY gets money and representation from the census. But the real plan might be to register illegals in purple states.
BTW, I beat the crooks, got all back unemployment payments and, three weeks after Trump was sworn into office, reported to my present work location which pays a substantially better salary that the crooks I was working for before.
This is just one part of a concerted effort by the Left to subvert, sabotage, and eventually destroy the voting process. The Left has a lot to lose because its politics of personal identity pit one group against another, and it is cannibalistic by nature as they found out recently with the charter school admissions in NYC where Asian students were being bumped by black students on the basis of race.
So eventually they are going to run out of people to pit against each other. The result is, as you said is going to be a loss in census, and influence, so they have an orchestrated response, as they aren't going to give up because their policies have no mandate from Americans. They are just going to find ways to diminish the input of Americans with the following:
They are attacking this on many fronts, and I believe they are succeeding. Things like The Secretary of State Project, ballot harvesting and ranked voting seem pretty innocuous, but they will eventually have large impacts.
We need to fight these traitors tooth and nail.
