Well, using that reasoning, why don’t we legalize murder? There will be less crime and incarceration. Problem solved!

Not only that, but “scromiting.” These kids smoke 90% pure THC honey oil over and over and get so loaded with THC that they start vomiting over and over until their THC levels begin to lessen after a few weeks. I had a student of mine that was hospitalized for a month with it. She vomited constantly the minute she drank or ate anything, so they had to put her on a slow drip IV to keep her hydrated without triggering vomiting.

Um. Cannabis is as legal for minors as it ever was. So how can you blame the law?

The argument is that it is probably easier for minors to get it now that it's legal for adults.

It was easier to get than beer in 1973. A lot easier.

I don’t think that is true, that it’s easier to get now that it’s legal for adults. But I will believe it’s stronger than it ever was and that can get immature people too high and cause brain damage. Teens should not be smoking weed. But they will. Let’s keep them informed of the risks and get them involved with difficult tasks like sports or jobs that take concentration, so that they have something to lose and won’t get high all the time.

Parents ought to take their young children 10 and above to the homeless drug areas and then be allowed to make an appointment to visit the morgue to see autopsies of similar people they saw on the streets. Scare Straight.

Just like kids getting liquor from a liquor store years ago.
KID: Hey dopehead, I’ll give you 40 bucks to buy some dope, and another 40 to buy some for me, DEAL?
DOPER: UUHHH, sure DUDE, why not.
Or just steal it from doper mom and dad, after all when they are stoned they won’t really remember how much they had left.

Pot makes people especially kids, even more lazy and worthless than usual.

But your idea to bring back Prohibition is GREAT!

Bring back the Mob to square away Chicago, to kick some illegal and gang ass, and get other undesirable groups back under the porch. Hell yes.

From the article:

“visits to Children’s Hospital Colorado facilities for treatment of cyclic vomiting, paranoia, psychosis and other acute cannabis-related symptoms jumped to 777 in 2015, from 161 in 2005”

ACUTE.

They took too many gummy bears, or smoked too much oil.

But Colorado has data the shows there’s been a very slight decrease in pot use for those under 18 since legalization.

And EVERYONE knows pot is the next worst drug, after LSD, to take if you’re already borderline nuts. It will tip you over the edge in high doses, just about guaranteed.

Kids should never smoke dope.

But that’s no reason adults should not be able to buy and use.

Whatever you do don’t smoke cigarettes. Pot is cool. Cigarettes bad. Who would you rather pilot your plane? A pilot who smokes a fattie or one that smokes a camel?

Wait till a bunch of liberals’ kids drive off a mountain road under the influence of Mary Jane. Then maybe someone will wake up and overthrow the criminal drug gang running the state from the governor’s house and their legislature.

It always takes the death of someone before people being to wake up.

Burying your children will do that to normal people but it sounds like the liberals/leftists in Colorado don’t give a shit.

We protect our children and grandchildren where I live despite the fact that a Soros Marxist legal whore is now our new Commonwealth’s attorney. The former Demo CA was a decent, professional person. Now we have to suffer under a let-them-out-of jail, marijuana is ok, give convicts the vote “progressive”.

Our Republican Party is a joke and most of us old timers are too disabled or ill to take on the job. Going to be “hard times” until some criminal kills a child or cop and the few sane and decent people left in Arlington, Va. rise up. If I’m still around, I’ll be in that crowd.

Here in WA — pot legal for five years — I have three in local high school; I’m not aware of any “big price paid” by the kids in this school. Marijuana availability seems about the same as it always was including when I went to school here 50 years ago.

I can’t explain why that would be happening in CO (if the increase is legit), and not here in my town in WA, but it isn’t. Not saying there is never, ever a pot-related ER visit of a minor here but there is most certainly no epidemic or sharp increase. There has got to be some other factor involved. We have 90% THC concentrates here, too.

I figure a $10 donation to FR should cover it. (grin).
