Media does pay sales tax on advertising in some states and all media companies have to pro rata income by state and pay income tax to that state.
My proposal would be a new tax - like property tax.
All advertising - broadcast or printed, movie product placements, distributed flyers, mailings, etc. would be subject to this tax.
Hey, if it makes a difference in the life of one child it will all be worth it.
