Visit Trenton, Memphis, St Louis and a few dozen other cities; they’re just as bad, or worse per capita, but don’t get the negative press. The demonkkkRAT Machine hides the numbers/stats better than the bigger cities.

And the sad part, is that those cities get the same promises every election, sucker for them, and re-electing the same old tired political machines.
I have no sympathy for any of those cities and their problems.
About this time, some one says "But do you want the good people to suffer those ills?" As long as they don't get themselves organized and vote out the political plantation masters, yes
