Trump denies ordering Mueller be fired, cites Nixon’s mistakes

President Trump said he did not order the White House counsel to fire special counsel Robert Mueller because that “didn’t work out too well” for former President Nixon during Watergate.

“I wasn’t going to fire [Mueller],” Trump told ABC News’ “This Week” in an interview that aired Sunday. “You know why? Because I watched Richard Nixon go around firing everybody, and that didn’t work out too well.”

He pointed to Article II of the Constitution, which lays out the powers of the president, claiming it allowed him to fire the special counsel who was investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election.

“He wasn’t fired. Okay? Number one, very importantly. But more importantly, Article II allows me to do whatever I want. Article II would have allowed me to fire him,” Trump said in the interview.

Clearly another reason to impeach. If not that, serving fast food to college champions.

“...reason to impeach. If not that, serving fast food to college champions. “

The latter is a better reason, but not sufficient.

Trump denies ordering Mueller be fired

Although he had every constitutional right to since

1) there was no reasonable suspicion, much less probable cause, to conduct an investigation in the first place (totalitarianism and the Delusional Lying Left needs no reasonable suspicion to investigate).

2) There is no constitutional support for a "special investigator" or "special prosecutor".

An attempted coup by corrupt DOJ, CIA, and the State Department is as nothing compared to the thought crime Trump committed when he complained about the corrupt investigations.

Trump could have fired Mueller if he wanted to. Now apparently thinking about it, if he did, is a crime. These people are insane.

If he had in fact issued such a order, Mueller was fired. That’s it. Since he wasn’t, while he clearly may have wanted to do so, he ultimately was convinced not to do so - otherwise, if the President ordered him fired, he was fired and that’s it.

And of course it is pretty clear now Mueller certainly would have deserved to be fired.

He didn’t just “claim” that, POTUS has the power to fire anybody in the executive branch at any time and for any reason.

“....Obama NEVER gave these teams anything to eat.”

I did not know that. Even fast food is better than nothing.

There’s no reason to explain any of his actions.

The people who need to do the explaining are the coup conspirators who hijacked the justice system and abused its powers - derived from us - to try to overthrow their political enemy.

Defending your actions in fighting sedition and treason is not necessary.

Just WANTING to fire Mueller is apparently enough for the rats to impeach our president.

Just even thinking about it is enough for them.

I often get instructions from clients to deduct items that are not deductible. When I advise them on the law and the consequences my clients withdrawal their instructions. In the rare case they don’t, they are no longer clients.

Trump’s attorney didn’t quit and didn’t follow instructions.

He didn’t just “claim” that, POTUS has the power to fire anybody in the executive branch at any time and for any reason.

The media consistently characterize anything President Trump says as something he claimed not said. It's a concerted effort they've engaged in since his election to undermine his credibility.
