I disagree. The state is overwhelmed with corruption and there are probably more illegals voting than U.S. citizens. To top it off the voting machines are probably corrupted. I guarantee EVERY SINGLE method of fraud is happening in CA. They will go and harvest ballots from the street pooping vagrants. Calif. shouldn’t even be counted in a general election until they clean up the voter fraud but that is not going to happen. It is a dimocratic stronghold of corruption and I would fear for POTUS’s life if he even went there.

Would the Secret Service be willing to accompany President Trump to California?

It’s not illegals and welfare recipients.

It’s public employees.

Not just illegals and welfare recipients, I meant to say.

I can’t even find quick info on the number of public employees in CA.

I think you're right. The concentration and massive numbers of Leftists and the massive wealth along the coast simply overwhelms the normal people who occupy far more of the land area in California than they do. The California Republican Party exists, effectively, in name only and is undescribably weak and ineffective. And you are absolutely correct that well-honed and entrenched Democrat/Left fraud and corruption exists throughout the state.

Don't misunderstand: I would love to see President Trump campaign in California and he is the only Republican in the country who stands a chance -- remote as it is -- to win back the state. So I think that while the possiblity is exciting to think about, it seems to me to be a waste of money to campaign here ... and it would take an enormous amount of his time and his energy -- at the expense of maintaining his hold on other important states that he must win without California (Michigan; Wisconsin; Pennsylvania). The odds are just not in his favor and the costs are far too high.
