Yup. The institution of marriage has broken down in this society to such a degree that they've gone shopping for a more reliable means of support.
This also preys on the tendency of women towards compassion. "Well gee, no one should go without food, or shelter, or medical care. Doing Socialism would just be NICER than what we have now."

They’ve been indoctrinated to believe that, for many decades now. And women just love how it tastes.
But, the fruit of their belief is bitter, indeed: broken marriages, lower (single) income ‘families’, fatherless children, feminized children, high illegitimacy rates, boys on mental drugs, harsh judgement$ against fathers, high youth and male suicide rates, fewer marriages, demasculization and demonization of boys and men. Bad stuff for a society.
I believe the vile seed was sown in 1919.
