#49. At least Sendak was pro-children. He didn’t abuse or use them, and his books were really fun for little kids. We used to read them to our children all the time (One is a combat veteran of Iraq and former Police Officer. The other works for DHS, married to a two war combat veteran Marine).
Who knows what are in children’s books being written today. It isn’t friendly monsters, curious kids, and genuine friendship relationships (no causes, just friends).
