The US women lost 5-2 to a group of U15 boys (not even a national team). In soccer 5-2 means they were totally outclassed by 13 and 14 year olds boys.

Go find a decent middle school game and you’ll be seeing soccer equivalent to the US women.

My girls played soccer in high school. Often the boys would be playing in adjacent fields. The difference in intensity, speed, aggressiveness and overall quality of play was staggering.
