They have government healthcare.
Most also have employer-paid health insurance add-on.
Many have a personally-paid health insurance add-on.

Why the add-ons? To get faster, better, broader treatment and non-limited med’s.

Their doc’s work for the gov in gov hospitals & clinics, but most sideline for cash. Why? To make a decent income.

I can tell you most Canadian’s who can afford health care come to the USA. Those who can’t only the fairly healthy get treated. Of course, you will say - but my father never had that right because he didn’t live to see it developed to the point where you see signs for MRI’s just driving down the street.

You can’t have a right to something that doesn’t exist yet - and socialism fixates on limiting the cost, and not on increasing the quality, of medical care. I wouldn’t favor socialism even if I thought it would reduce my health care cost. Because that would be a betrayal of my children and grandchildren’s right to improvements in health care after I am dead and gone.
