Good plan.
One reason many libraries became leftist propaganda shitholes is because of a movement in the late 60’s/70’s within the American Library Association by a radical/Marxist “caucus”. They decided to infiltrate and in some cases, take over libraries and policies by placing their members in key positions of authority.
The key Marxist leader of this movement (that I know of) was Anne Sparanese, a writer for the Communist Party’s newspaper (pick one name - Daily World, Peoples Daily World, Peoples Weekly World) and a member of the Cuban-KGB/CPUSA created “Venceremos Brigades”.
The House Internal Security Committee published a whole hearing/volume on the Venceremos Brigade” in their “Theory and Practice of Communism” set of hearings in the early 1970’s. Her name is on one of the VB travelers’ manifests.
I know that she became a powerful figures in the ALA and caused a lot of problems with librarian/library policies.
Someone here at FR might want to do a little more digging about the ALA, Radical Librarians Caucus, and Sparanese and add it here.
I’m just physically able right now to do it in depth. Perhaps ETL can find something to add. He’s very good at that.
Good stuff, thanks MadMax. I vaguely remember the Venceremos Brigade. Will do a little followup.
Trump supporters think men in makeup are a bigger threat to family values than babies in cages.

Thank you for that, MM! :)
I'll look into it later and see what I can find.
The local Austin news last night had another story on it and with their left leaning bias reporting 100% of the parents were singing praises for the story hour.
The world today in so many has gone friggin nuts.
Here’s an eye brow raiser on Sparanese - http://www.cubaverdad.net/weblog/2005/10/castros-library-pass-part-iv/
bgill: Thanks for this eye-opener series of articles on radical American communist librarians, censor in Cuba, etc.
It is well worth copying and saving for future reference.
Thanks for giving this source to us. Well done!
