The absolute intolerance of leftists who reject anyone holding a different political perspective was put on stage on Santa Clara University recently when student leaders refused to allow a conservative organization on campus.
The situation developed in a vote rejecting the Young Americas Foundation.
That group, which has chapters on campuses across the nation already, is dedicated to assuring that the messages of individual freedom, a strong national defense, free enterprise and traditional values are available to those who want them.
It works to provide its message through conferences, seminars, educational materials, internships and speakers.
The organization announced recently that its request to set up a chapter on the campus of Santa Clara University was refused.
Student senators had cited their fear of emotional harm.
YAF explained, Raul Orellana, an at-large senator, told the YAF chapter you do have a history of harm towards the LGBTQ+ community. He inquired that he wanted to know how your stance on safety and traditional values is supposed to include everyone with your history of emotional and mental harm to this community.'

This is why Jesus told his disciples that if their witness was rejected by a village, to just move on................You cannot educate a person who is totally close minded..............
Fast forward this scenario and it shows the YAF and its supporting students being teargassed. (See Hong Kong today.)
“...to just move on....”
I can’t accept that analogy for this situation. I don’t want to condemn every student at Santa Clara university to the ideological hell that is being forced on them.
If we “just move on” when small groups of Progressive-Facists try to oppress the free and open discussion of varying political ideas we have granted them victory. We need to just push back instead. Have alumni pressure the school administration, file lawsuits, invite speakers anyway.
“you do have a history of harm towards the LGBTQ+ community.
We should all have that history soon, lest it become too late and all we can do is watch the country descend into faggotry. We have to adamantly say no more. Sure, we voted, and scotus told us no. We shouldn’t take that lying down. The alphabet freaks are coming for our kids next, and nothing is done about it. They’ve even got homosexual characters on children’s cartoons and “educational” programs.
Well we can’t have people just running around thinking what they wish, now can we?
Libtard socialist regard people thinking differently from them and being true to, and living out those different beliefs, as “unsafe”.
Fuching orwellians.
Didn’t Trump just sign an EO or something to ensure this doesn’t happen?
No doubt the left will comply.
The YAF up against a Jesuit university is not free from sin. I recall my YAF frat brother back in the Goldwater days lecturing me on the evils of race miscegination. This was YAF policy back in the early 60’s. Probably changed by now, but not a proud tradition, certainly not a Lincolnsonian republican tradition. This week’s fun is to read a little history about the roots of republicanism.
It's a small college near the San Jose Airport in the Bay Area. I think they'll have bigger things to feel unsafe about before getting to this group.

Another of numerous examples of why college degrees issued in the current day are not worth the paper they are printed on. This is monumentally stupid logic - yet those that imposed this decision will no doubt be awarded degrees by this institution.
Just think of the emotional damage when some HR rep boots them out of job interview for being immature.
Yes...not sure how it could apply to individual groups.
Absolutely right!
And the most important thing is to get people to think about, and ask:
Why?
Why can't democrat(Marxists) debate their ideas?
Why do they try to shut up anyone who disagrees with them?
They are NOT tolerant and they don't want people to find out what their true goals are.
Hell, Muhammad Ali did that schtick on the Dick Cavett Show. I saw the video on Youtube not long ago.
